Word on the street is ... that all three of our eggs survived thaw!!
YIPPEE!!!
And all 3 were successfully inseminated with ICSI.
The collection this morning went well (obviously) and tomorrow we find out how many actually fertilize and have a chance at life.
Berilac and I are both thrilled.
Please continue to pray for our three little ones.

ReplyDeleteGreat news Polly! In Exodus, when the Egyptians are pursuing the Israelites, Moses says to them, "the Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still (Ex 14:14). I really loved this verse when going through the fertilization process because there is nothing you need to do at this point - just be still and know the Lord is fighting for those soon-to-be embryos. Kate
ReplyDeleteKate, this is exactly the attitude I have tried to adopt. I'm so glad you pointed me toward the verse. I real feel like in this time, this is part of the process that God wants me to learn - for so long I have been "giving myself a hard time" about not doing enough or saying the right thing or making the right choice ... on and on ... when in reality - I'm not in control. ... I just need to be still. Thank you for your comment.
